CSKA beat Zenit and led VTB in the final series of playoffs of the Unified League
The Moscow CSKA defeated the St. Petersburg Zenit in the fifth match of the final series of the playoffs of the Unified VTB League.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 89:84 (15:16, 23:24, 23:27, 28:17). The most productive player of the meeting was the forward of Zenit Dwayne Baikon, who scored 24 points. CSKA has 23 points on the account of Mel of Trimble.
From the beginning of the current season, Baikon scored 1006 points and updated the record of the Unified League. The previous achievement of points in one season belonged to Ksevier Raten -mayce (991).
The score in the series is up to four victories – 3-2 in favor of the army. The sixth match of the final series will be held on June 9 in Moscow.
