CSKA for the 12th time became the champion of the Unified VTB League, defeating Zenit in the sixth match of the final series
The Moscow CSKA defeated the St. Petersburg Zenit in the sixth match of the final series of the Play -OFF United League of VTB and for the 12th time in history became the winner of the tournament.
The meeting in Moscow ended with a score of 96:73 (23:20, 29:19, 26:15, 18:19). The most productive player in the match in CSKA was Mel Trimble, who scored 20 points. At Zenit, Trent Fraser scored the most points – 17.
CSKA won the series up to four victories with a score of 4–2. Army men are record holders in the number of championship titles in the Unified VTB League. For some, the trophy was conquered by Khimki (2011), Zenit (2022) and UNICS (2023).
