Meln Trimble is recognized as the most valuable player player -off in the Unified VTB League
The defender of the Moscow CSKA Mel Trimble is recognized as the most valuable player (MVP) of the playoffs in the season – 2024/25 of the VTB United League.
The 30 -year -old American received a reward after the sixth match of the final series with Zenit (96:73). In this meeting, he became the most productive player, gaining 20 points.
CSKA won the series up to four victories with a score of 4–2 and the 12th time in history became the winner of the tournament. Army men are record holders in the number of championship titles in the Unified VTB League. For some, the trophy was conquered by Khimki (2011), Zenit (2022) and UNICS (2023).
Trimble has been playing for CSKA since July 2023. He received the award to the most valuable player for the second season in a row.
