The Unified VTB League will hold a new intra -season tournament with the participation of foreign teams
The Basketball Unified League VTB announced the creation of a new intra -season tournament.
Six Russian and two foreign teams will take part in the tournament.
Matches will be held from October 2025 to March 2026, the winner will be determined in the format of the Final Four. Eight teams will be divided into two groups. In the regular championship, they will play six matches with each of the rivals inside the group. The two best clubs from each group will go to the Final Four.
It is noted that the new cup will become a pilot project during which the league implements new marketing tools.
