The most valuable player of the regular championship of the United League VTB Baikon left Zenit
The American basketball player Dwayne Baikon left Zenit at the end of the contract, the press service of the team from St. Petersburg reports.
In the season -2024/25, Baikon, along with Zenit, won the regular championship and reached the final of the Unified VTB League, and also won the Kondrashin and Belov Cup and the bronze medals of the Super Cup.
Baikon was recognized as the MVP of the regular VTB League Championship. He set the League historical record, becoming the best scorer in one season – 1022 points. No player previously managed to overcome a mark of a thousand points during the championship.
In total, in the finished drawing of the Unified League, VTB Baikon took part in 58 matches, on average gaining 17.6 points, 3.9 selection, 2.2 programs and 0.7 interceptions in 27 minutes on the site.
