CSKA, Zenit, Crvene Star and Dubai will play in the Super Bowl of the Unified League VTB -2025
The Russian teams of CSKA and Zenit, the Serbian “Crovena Zvezda”, as well as the Dubai basketball club from the UAE will play in the VTB unified league in 2025, the League press service reports.
The tournament will be held in the Final Four format. September 24, semi -final matches will take place, September 25 – a game for 3rd place and the final meeting. Matches will take place at the Belgrade Arena.
– The VTB League returned to the Final Four format on the Super Bowl because of the difficult schedule of the participants. A similar format is not in the novelty for the Belgrade Arena, which had previously accepted the “finals of four” the largest basketball tournaments, and now it will become the venue for the VTB League Super Cup.
It’s no secret that Belgrade is one of the most basketball cities in the world. The most popular teams of the capital of Serbia – Partizan, Crvene Star and Mega – previously took part in the VTB League Super Bowl, said the President of the Unified VTB League Sergei Kushchenko.
For the first time, the pre -season tournament was held in 2021. Two times he was won by CSKA and Zenit, earlier matches have always been held in Moscow.
