Kirilenko explained why the Russian team will hold friendly matches with Iran in Khimki near Moscow

Andrei Kirilenko, the head of the Russian Basketball (RFB) Federation, in an interview with Match TV, explained why the Khimki BC, and not the Hall Basket in Krylatsky, was selected by the place of friendly matches of the Russian national team with Iran, where the team played the last friendly meetings last November.

The Russian team will play with Iranians on July 28 and 30 in Khimki and immediately after flying to Egypt for control matches with the national team of this country.

– The last time the national team played in Krylatsky. Therefore, we decided to change the arena. Moreover, basketball is very fond of Khimki. Taking this opportunity, I invite everyone to these matches – an excellent hall, the national team has not played in Russia for a long time.
