The Spanish men’s basketball team lost to Georgia in their opening match in the group stage of the 2025 European Championship.
The meeting of Group C ended with the victory of the Georgian team with a score of 83:69 (20:17, 17:18, 20:14, 26:20). The Spanish national team is the current European champion.
Also in this group are teams from Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, and Cyprus. On August 30, the Spaniards will play the Bosnians.
EuroBasket 2025 takes place in four countries: Finland, Poland, Latvia and Cyprus.
