The best sniper of the VTB United League for the 2022/23 season returned to Avtodor

The Russian Avtodor has agreed to sign a contract with American basketball player Malik Newman, who previously played for the club for two seasons, the press service of the Saratov team reports.
The agreement with the best sniper of the VTB United League for the 2022/23 season will be valid for one year.
— The best sniper in the VTB League needs no introduction. We are well aware of Malik’s level and potential. It is important that he expressed a great desire to return and is extremely motivated for the coming year. We hope that in the new season we will see the best version of Newman,” said Avtodor President Oleg Rodionov.
Last season, 28-year-old Newman played for the Chinese Jilin Northeast Tigers, the Italian Napoli and the Turkish Merkezefendi.
The new season of the VTB United League starts on September 28.
