CSKA beat Crvena Zvezda and reached the VTB United League Super Cup final
CSKA Moscow beat Red Star Belgrade in the semi-finals of the VTB United League Super Cup.
The meeting in Belgrade ended with the victory of the Russian team with a score of 89:67 (30:19, 17:20, 17:16, 25:12).
The most productive player of the meeting was CSKA basketball player Melo Trimble, who scored 19 points.
In the second semi-final, Zenit St. Petersburg and Dubai will meet, the game will take place later on Wednesday. On Thursday, September 25, the final and the match for 3rd place will take place.
The Super Cup is the official pre-season tournament of the VTB United League, preceding the start of the championship. For the first time in history, matches are taking place outside of Russia – in the Serbian capital Belgrade.
