LeBron James may miss more than a month due to illness – media
Four-time NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James may not hit the court until December, Lakers Daily reports.
As previously reported, 40-year-old James has been suffering from sciatica, an irritation of the sciatic nerve, for several months. According to the source, the Lakers veteran’s recovery may take until December. For the first time in his career, the basketball player will miss the team’s starting match in the NBA regular season.
The NBA season starts on October 21. On this day, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Golden State Warriors.
In the summer, James thought about retiring, but postponed the final decision indefinitely.
Last NBA season, LeBron averaged 24.2 points in the regular season and 25.4 points in five playoff games.
