Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal’s car was stolen during transportation
Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal’s car, worth about $180,000, was stolen during transportation, Page Six reports.
The car was in the possession of a company that would carry out work that would increase the price of the car to approximately $300 thousand. Arrangements were made for its delivery from Atlanta to Louisiana. The car was picked up on Monday, but it never arrived at its destination. When company employees called to find out where the car had gone, it turned out that it had disappeared along the route.
It is believed that the attackers may have hacked the company’s data to gain access to loading or unloading information and used it to take possession of the machine. The company announced a $10,000 reward for information about the missing car.
O’Neill’s car collection, according to some sources, is estimated at $4 million; he himself said that he has about 40 cars.
Shaquille O’Neal played for Orlando, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami, Phoenix, Cleveland and Boston; he is a four-time NBA champion, recognized as the most valuable player of the season (2000), Final (2000-2002). In 2016 he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. As a member of the US team, he became an Olympic champion and world champion.
