Brooklyn coach: “I just can’t get the guys to play with full effort”
Brooklyn Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said that he cannot get full dedication from the team at the start of the NBA regular season.
“Brooklyn,” for which Russian defender Egor Demin plays, suffered six defeats in six matches and occupies the last 15th place in the Eastern Conference.
“I can’t get my guys to play with full dedication. I’m trying to ask questions. Ask them questions. How can I get them to play really hard? Apparently, I’m doing something wrong,” New Yok Post quotes Fernandez.
19-year-old NBA debutant Demin played five games this season, averaging 7 points and 2.4 assists.
Brooklyn will face the Minnesota Timberwolves at home on Monday.
