Three-time Olympic champion LeBron James and two-time world champion Stephen Curry made it clear that they will not be included in the US team for the 2028 Summer Olympics, which will be held in Los Angeles. ESPN reports this.
– You yourself know the answer to your question. I will watch this tournament. And I don’t think I can do anything more than we’ve already done in previous tournaments,” James said.
“You should never say never, but I seriously doubt that I will play.” “I doubt it very much,” Curry admitted.
James has competed in four Olympic Games, winning bronze in 2004 and gold medals in 2008, 2012 and 2024.
Curry made his Olympic debut in 2024 and won gold with Team USA, and also won world championships in 2010 and 2014.
