LeBron James became the first basketball player in history to play in 23 NBA seasons
Four-time NBA champion LeBron James set a league record for seasons played, the NBA press service reports.
Los Angeles Lakers forward James made his debut in the current regular season, appearing on the floor in a home match against the Utah Jazz. The 40-year-old basketball player missed the start of the season due to health reasons.
James became the first basketball player in history to play in 23 NBA seasons. LeBron surpassed Vince Carter’s 22nd season record.
In the summer, James thought about retiring, but postponed the final decision indefinitely. Last NBA season, LeBron averaged 24.2 points in the regular season and 25.4 points in five playoff games.
