Brooklyn coach Fernandez: “Demin is one of the best in the NBA in three-point shooting”
Brooklyn Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez named the game aspect in which Russian point guard Yegor Demin became one of the best in the NBA.
Brooklyn selected 19-year-old Demin eighth overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. This is a record high number for Russian basketball players in history.
“Right now he’s one of the best players in the NBA at getting to the three-point line. Statistics show this. Now he needs to improve his approach to the basket, evaluate opportunities to go into the lanes, and also work on his role as a passer. It is necessary to improve the ability to evaluate the movements of partners when they open up for a throw or to play the ball,” Clutch Points quotes Fernandez as saying.
Demin played 19 matches this season, averaging 8.6 points and 3.6 assists.
