LeBron James’ record scoring streak in NBA matches has been interrupted, the league’s press service reports.

For 18 years, starting in January 2007, James consistently scored at least 10 points in league games. On December 4, the Los Angeles Lakers, for which 40-year-old James plays, defeated Toronto in the regular season match (123:120), but James finished the game with eight points.

The four-time NBA champion scored 10+ points in 1,297 games.

The current championship is also a record for James. He became the first basketball player in history to play in 23 NBA seasons.
