This is how the Endesa League standings remain after Real Madrid’s victory in Lleida
Real Madrid added to the Endesa League and achieved another victory this Saturday. Sergio Scariolo’s team struggled at Baris Nord, but in the end they gritted their teeth and managed to beat Hiopos Lleida 81-88. This new victory cements him at the top of the standings with 10 wins and one loss.
Leaders La Laguna Tenerife also won a match, but it was not an easy game against Girona either. The Canaries took advantage of Van Beck’s great shooting success (8/9 triples) to win 89-96 and solidify 4th place with 8 wins and 3 losses.
Dreamland Gran Canaria went from strength to strength and defeated Covilan Granada 90-85, so Rakovic’s side maintained their chances of a cup competition and the Andalusians remained locked in the red lanterns.
They have the same record as San Pablo Burgos, who lost 100-102 to Bakshi Manresa in overtime in their last match of the day. Diego Ocampo’s side thus achieved a three-win cushion above the relegation zone.
