The ex-coach of Dynamo Moscow headed Bayern
Basketball club Bayern announced the appointment of Svetislav Pesic as head coach.
The 76-year-old Serbian specialist has a contract until the end of the season. He will replace Gordon Herbert, with whom the German club agreed on an early end to cooperation.
Under Pesic, Bayern won their first Bundesliga title in 2014.
For the past few years, Pesic has led the Serbian national team. At club level, he is known for his work with Alba, Girona and Barcelona. In the 2007/08 season, Pesic headed Dynamo Moscow.
Svetislav Pesic is a member of the FIBA Hall of Fame since 2020.
