Abalde: “We expect a long and tough match against Monaco”
Real Madrid forward Alberto Abalde declared this Thursday that he is expecting a “long and tough” match against Monaco in the EuroLeague.against that opponent they will try to “do a great job and be consistent so they don’t play hard to score and out of rhythm.”
Real Madrid, who are seventh in the Euroleague, will play sixth-placed Monaco tomorrow as visitors in Round 18 of the Continental Championship.
”We are working on it with great enthusiasm. This is an important game and a challenge against a great rival as well as any other team.“They will definitely have periods during the season, but they have a great team and will be very competitive to be at the top throughout the year,” Abalde said in a statement broadcast by Real Madrid TV.
“Monaco is a rival we must beat, and it is a long way away. It’s always difficult to play there because they play so well. what we want is. It will be difficult when faced with a team with so many weapons and so many game generators. We’re going to try to do a great job and be consistent so it’s hard for them to score and we don’t play out of rhythm. I want to find the rhythm of the game through defense and find good moments on offense.”
“A long and tough match is expected. We must be prepared to experience different moments during the matchcontinue working from 1 minute to 40 minutes. “It’s going to be a tough match,” he concluded.
