Serbian specialist Tomislav Tomovic took over the leadership of Lokomotiv-Kuban, according to the official website of the basketball club.

Tomovich took over the post that became vacant on January 6 with the departure of Anton Yudin from the club.

— I am glad to welcome Tomislav Tomovic as the new head coach of Lokomotiv-Kuban.

We see in him a promising specialist from the world-famous Serbian school, who knows how to work with talented youth and has absorbed the winning culture during his years of work at Red Star.

I believe that through joint efforts we will achieve high results and give our fans bright emotions and long-awaited victories. I wish Tomislav success at the new stage of his coaching career, as well as the realization of his potential and Lokomotiv’s ambitious plans,” Krasnodar President Andrey Vedischev commented on Tomovich’s appointment.

The Serbian specialist began his coaching career in 2010 at the Belgrade academy. He was an assistant at Shandong Hi-Speed ​​Kirin, Sichuan Blue Wales and Mega Belgrade. Since 2023, he has worked as an assistant coach at Crvena Zvezda, with whom he won the Serbian Cup twice and became the Adriatic League champion once.
