Demin set a record for Brooklyn among newcomers
Russian point guard playing in the NBA for the Brooklyn Nets, Yegor Demin, set a franchise record among rookies, NetsDaily reports on social networks.
Demin became the first rookie in Brooklyn history to make five three-point shots in two games in a row. This is the 28th such case in NBA history.
On Wednesday, Demin scored 18 points in a match against Orlando (103:104 OT), making five three-pointers on eight attempts. On Friday, the 19-year-old Russian scored 19 points, making five of 10 long-range shots in a game against the Los Angeles Clippers (105:121).
Demin is in his first season in the NBA. The Nets selected him eighth overall in the 2025 draft.
