NBA. Dallas beat Utah, Oklahoma beat Houston, Detroit beat Phoenix
Nine games were played in the NBA regular season on the night of January 15-16.
“Dallas” took revenge on “Utah” for the defeat it suffered in its home match last week.
Mavericks decided the fate of the match by winning the first quarter by 11 points at 35:24. They then only improved their advantage and brought it to +38 – 110:72 at the top. In the end, Dallas won with a score of 144:112.
Thompson had a double-double with 25 points and Cisse with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Svyatoslav Mikhayyuk Jazz did not take part in this game because it gave the youngsters the opportunity to play again.
“Houston” could not stop “Oklahoma”’s victory march at home.
The Thunder quickly took the initiative and kept their opponents within one or two shots. This continued for three quarters, and in the fourth quarter, Oklahoma took a 14:0 lead and finally closed the game-winner question, making the score 106:86. Thunder won in the end – 111:91.
Gilgeous-Alexander became the most productive player of the match, scoring 20 points.
“Detroit” earned a hard-fought victory over “Phoenix” in its home game.
The Suns won the first quarter 32-23 but lost the next three quarters. But they did so by a minimal margin, and so the Pistons did not take the lead until midway through the third quarter, with the score at 75:74. After that the game improved and the intrigue continued until the end of the meeting. The decisive factor in the match was Cunningham’s two-point field goal and the score became 104:100 in favor of Detroit. Then, thanks to penalties, the home team maintained its advantage of 108:105.
The most productive player of the winning team was Robinson with 19 points, while Duren (16 points + 18 rebounds) and Cunningham (10 points + 11 assists) scored a double-double.
