LeBron JAMES: “Score more points than our opponent”
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James He wasn’t in the best of moods after losing to the Portland Trail Blazers (116:132). When asked what kind of victories the Lakers should expect at this stage of the season, given the health of the team, LeBron answered directly:
“Collect more points than our opponent.”
When a journalist asked how to do this, James replied:
“Let’s shoot more than our opponent.”
Referring to personnel problems, he continued as follows:
“You start with the current composition. Try to complete the mission. Play both offense and defense as much as possible. That’s all you can ask for.
After all, no one feels sorry for us and we are not looking for it. That’s why the guys who are available need to go out and play their game. Play the way we want, both offensively and defensively.”
The Lakers will play their next game at home against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, January 19 at 16:30.
