Work in the Slovenian national team could have a negative impact on Alexander Sekulic’s results at Zenit, Honored Coach of Russia Sergei Yelevich told Match TV.

On Tuesday, Sekulic was suspended from his duties as head coach of Zenit. Sekulic took charge of Zenit in June; the contract with the 47-year-old Slovenian specialist is for the 2025/26 season with the possibility of extension under the “1+1” scheme. Sekulic is also the head coach of the Slovenian national team.
