The winning team of the VTB United League All-Star Game will receive 5 million rubles
The prize fund of the VTB United League All-Star Game has become known, the winning team will receive 5 million rubles, League Director General Ilona Korstin told Match TV.
The tenth All-Star Game of the VTB United League will take place on February 15 in Moscow. The rivals will be the teams “Stars of Russia” and “Stars of the World”.
— I would like to remind you that initially the All-Star Game did not have a prize fund. We once talked with CSKA forward Semyon Antonov as part of a basketball studio and asked his opinion: how best to motivate players at the All-Star Game. And he said that it would be best to make a prize fund – we listened and did it. At first it was one million rubles, then three. Later it increased to five, and this year it will also amount to 5 million rubles. This is the amount the winning team will receive. That is, each player receives approximately 400 thousand rubles,” Korstin told Match TV.
