Two-time European basketball champion and Olympic bronze medalist Svetlana Abrosimova attended the Brooklyn Nets match with the participation of the team’s Russian defender Yegor Demin, the basketball player said on his Telegram channel.

Abrosimova attended the NBA regular season meeting between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets in New York (120:66). Demin scored six points and made three assists in the match.

– Yesterday at the game with the Knicks there was the champion of the WNBA, NCAA, Women’s Euroleague and multiple medalist of the World and European Championships, as well as the Olympic Games – Svetlana Abrosimova! We said hello, but unfortunately we were not able to communicate. I was very pleased to see Svetlana at the game. Thanks to her for her support. Svetlana made a video of the game, which I am sharing with you. As always, there was a special atmosphere in New York. Unfortunately, yesterday’s game, to put it mildly, cannot be included in the standings. We will work and improve our game,” Demin wrote in the Telegram channel.

Demin is in his first season in the NBA. The Russian took part in 33 matches, averaging 10.4 points per game, making 3.3 rebounds and giving 3.5 assists.

Brooklyn, with 12 wins in 42 meetings, ranks 13th in the Eastern Conference standings.
