OFFICIALLY. Barcelona announces whether it will continue playing in the Euroleague

As a result, the extension of the first men’s basketball team’s license to participate in the Euroleague for the next 10 seasons (until the 2035/36 season) was approved. FC Barcelona is one of the founding partners of this tournament and its Board of Directors confirms its unwavering commitment to always compete in the best competitions possible.
Currently, only Real Madrid, Fenerbahce and ASVEL, among the founding partners of the Euroleague, have not signed a license to extend their participation in the tournament.
Additionally, at the meeting, it was decided to hold an election for the President of Barcelona on Sunday, March 15, 2026. In the coming days, an official election announcement will be published, including all details regarding the calendar and the selection process, in accordance with the deadlines specified in the Club Constitution.
