NBA All-Star Game 2026: Most Surreal and Amazing Votes
of NBA Announced last Monday, Voting results to create a quintet titled All Star Game 2026will be held on February 15th at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, home of the LA Clippers.
After the vote tallies were completed, the league officially announced the list of 10 players who will headline the event. in eastern conference, The quintet of titles is structured as follows: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Tyrese Maxey, Jalen Brunson, Cade Cunningham, Jaylen Brown. on the other hand, western conference Introducing a lineup packed with international talent Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wenbanyamaaccompanied by the legendary Stephen Curry. So, the key is the absence of LeBron James, who is used to being a regular in these quintets.
The selection process for starters for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game ran from December 17th to January 14th. The weight of fan voting is 50%On the other hand, the media Players themselves contribute 25% each.
And in this last section, the players section, when the list of players who received at least one vote is published, we will see something like this: Some surprises.
Perhaps the most “media” is bronny james Lakers point guard and son of great LeBron James. got 2 votes Number of NBA players starting in the 2026 All-Star Game.
Bronny, 21, is in his second season in the league and is averaging just 1.5 points and 1.1 assists per game.
But LeBron’s son isn’t the only “remarkable” case. Players who haven’t played a minute this season are getting votes, as are long-term injuries like: Damian Lillard or Kyrie Irving, both 3 votes each; either Jayson Tatum and Scoot Henderson received one vote.
Also interesting is the case of players like Bronny, who have previously played a retained role in the regular season. Isaac Jones A power forward who played for the Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons this season, totaling 5 points (1.3 points, 0.5 rebounds) in 4 games. He received four votes as a possible starter for the All-Star Game.
or one of the following Garrett Templea veteran guard who played in 782 games over 40 years in the NBA, is averaging 0.4 points and 0.4 rebounds for the Toronto Raptors this season. Got 2 votes.
The Antetokounmpo brothers are a different case. And we’re not talking about Giannis. Thanasisplayed for the Milwaukee Bucks and averaged 1.7 points, but that did not prevent him from scoring maximum points. 6 votes! He will accompany Giannis as a starter in the All-Star Game. But if Thanasis’ case is amazing, his brother’s is even more amazing. alex He has played all season for the Bucks’ affiliate Wisconsin Herd in the G League and has yet to play in the NBA this season. despite this, Five votes were cast for him.
It is interesting to note that: The NBA does not disclose or publish each player’s voteSo unless one of them wants to come forward and “justify” their reason for voting, or make it clear that it’s some kind of joke, the mystery may remain.
New format introduced for 2026 NBA All-Star Game America versus the world It will consist of three teams: two squads of eight American players and one squad of eight international players.

Antetokounmpo says how much time he could miss due to injury
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo He injured his right calf in the match against the Denver Nuggets, resulting in his team’s defeat with a score of 100:102.
With about 40 seconds left in the game, during a quick attack, Janis suddenly stopped and caught his lower right leg. He quickly left the field and went to the locker room and returned to the bench seconds before the end of the game.
After the match, Janis confirmed that he felt pain throughout the match and had to stop:
“It doesn’t matter when I felt it. It doesn’t matter. I couldn’t finish the match. I felt it for most of the game, but I didn’t want to stop. Finally, I couldn’t move anymore and had to stop. Throughout the game, the pain got worse and worse as I played.”
Antetokounmpo estimated he would be out for four to six weeks.
“The next step will probably be an MRI tomorrow. After the MRI, they’ll probably tell me that I’ve torn something in my calf or shoulder. I’ll probably be given a protocol where I won’t play for 4 to 6 weeks.”
I will try to come back from now on with my experience in the NBA. This will probably be late February – early March. Hopefully the team will be in a position where we can at least go to the play-ins or play-offs and we will work every day and try to get better,” Janis added.
Janis finished the game with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists.
Antetokounmpo has missed eight games this season due to a calf injury and looks set to face a similar injury this time around.
Giannis, who missed a total of 16 games this season due to his injury, averaged 28.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.
