NBA: The Rockets punished “revolutionary” Porter-Wood
Bells from the Rockets to Kevin Porter Jr. – Christian Wood, who was penalized and won’t play the Sixers tonight.
Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood, who will not play in tonight’s game between the Rockets and Sixers, were given a one-match penalty after the incident they caused with the Nuggets in the locker room at halftime.
The young guard left the field after tensions with assistant coach John Lucas at half-time, while the young big man wasn’t a fiver and didn’t play in the second half. He was first punished for losing control of Covid-19 and then decided refusing to play the game was the right thing to do.
The two athletes are in a dire situation. Porter Jr. was fired from the Cavaliers a year ago for coming to terms with Cleveland’s GM, and Wood has given a few more reasons for his behavior to the past.
