Karditsa-Transfers: Announcement of acquisition of David Gabrovsek

Karditsa’s player in the new season will be David Gabrovsek (28 years, 2.02) with the newly formed team continuing to fill his roster.

The acquisition of Slovenian striker David Gabrovsek (28 years, 2.02) was announced by Karditsa, who strengthened ahead of the new season. Coach Vangelis Angelou’s newly enlightened team continues to fill the roster with the goal of achieving a good season in the top flight.

The Slovenian competed in Iceland last season with Stjarnan’s jersey, with the won the Iceland Cup.

Karditsa’s Announcement:

“AS Karditsa ORGANIC VILLAGE announces the addition of David Gabrovsek in the potential of our team. The Slovenian is 28 years old (born on 18 Ljubljana), is 2.02 m tall and plays as a power forward. In 2013 David Gabrovsek found himself on the other side of the Atlantic where he was studying Southwest Baptist College for two seasons totaling 58 games (29 as Starter), 15.1 minutes participation, 53% on twos, 42% on threes and 78% on threes Shots and over, 5 points po and 1.7 rebounds. Then he turned Slovenia wears the shirts of Typhoon Sediur, Illyria, Olimia in turn Poncetrtek and Rogačka, all Slovenian A1 teams. In his last season in the Slovenian league he had 13 points and 4.9 rebounds with Rogačka.

In the 2021/22 season he was in Iceland in the jersey of Stjarnan, with whom he was traveling won the Island Cup and was named MVP the latter scored 29 points in his team’s 93-85 win over them Porlakfson. In the Icelandic league, Gobravsek played 28.72 minutes in 24 games, averaging 16.1 points, 6 rebounds and 1.5 assists, with 61% on twos, 33% on threes and 68% on free throws. He is international with the Slovenian youth national team.
