EuroBasket: Petrucelli has been left out of the Italy national team, which continues with 14 players
With 14 players, the Italian national team, rivals of Greece, continues its preparation for the EuroBasket, which has bid farewell to John Petrucelli from its squad.
The friendly against France was a good opportunity for Italy coach Gianmarco Poceco to draw useful conclusions. The Italians were eliminated at home in overtime by Gobert and Co, losing 78-77. The two coaches saw the reaction of their players in a friendly game with high demands, with the first substitutions being official.
John Petrucelli in particular will not continue with the Italy national team as the squad now has 14 players ahead of EuroBasket.
We remind you that the Italians are the ones who will host the national team’s group in Milan, while Croatia, Ukraine, Great Britain and Estonia complete the six teams of group C.
