Goran Dragic’s threesome decided the spectacular Turkey-Slovenia
Like good old wine, Goran Dragic fired the winning shot to give Slovenia a 104-103 win over Turkey in Istanbul.
What a cheer… Turkey and Slovenia put on an incredible spectacle on Friday night (8/12) at the Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul in an impressive friendly that went into overtime, in an impressive match decided by 207 points, in a big shot, in a defense in the final.
With Luka Doncic on the touchline from 36′ to the end, Goran Dragic took the lead and with the score of 103-101 he wasn’t looking for the crucial 2-pointer (although he did 8/14 of 2-pointers and 0/2 3-pointers) . He emptied his defender, stepped back, executed and scored the big layup basket and the final 103-104.
