Danilovic shot Pesic for Teodosic’s interception
He tried to hide his anger but Predrag Danilovic remains bitter after Svetislav Pesic eliminated Serbia’s Milos Teodosic.
A few hours after Svetislav Pesic explained Milos Teodosic’s exclusion from Serbian preparation, the Serbian Basketball Federation president contradicted the veteran coach, saying that there would certainly be other ways for the country’s national team to advance.
“The coach said some things, but in my opinion there were more acceptable ways to solve this problem. Anyway, this story is closed and we have to move on to the next games. It is important that there is peace in the group and that the nation supports it. Let’s stop being self destructive, we all have to stand by these kids” were the words of Predrag Danilovich.
“We have very important games with Greece and Turkey and we have to go step by step. We will think about the EuroBasket later. I trust the team and the coach and after the tournament we will see how we honor Teodosic. There are serious problems at the moment, but Milos deserves the highest award and that cannot be disputed‘ added the veteran basketball player.
