Ukraine U-16 team lost to England in the European Championship.
Ukraine U-16 men’s team lost 9-16 places in the first match of the tournament at the European Championship held in Sofia. Andrey Kharchinsky’s team lost to Great Britain with a score of 58:66.
The key was the opponents’ move of 19:0 in the middle of the match, as a result of which the British took the lead and retained the winning result. The opponent had 31 losses, but the Ukrainian team lost the fight under the shields, taking only 3 points after the mistakes of the English team. Luka Lokhmanchuk was the most productive member of our team with 17 points.
In the next match – for the 13-16 place – the national team of Ukraine will play against the Czech Republic on August 19 at 16:00.
