Knicks – Grizzlies 108-120: sovereigns and winners in the “Big Apple”
The Memphis Grizzlies took an early lead and didn’t look back until the end of the game when they beat the New York Knicks away (120-108).
The Memphis Grizzlies remain on the upper floors of the West, who confirmed to Madison Square Garden the toughness that sets them apart this season. Despite the absence of Ja Morand (9/27 in kids), the visitors prevailed against the New York Knicks (120-108) with a big gun with 41% in threes.
Jaren Jackson (26 points, 10 rebounds) and Zier Williams (21 points) provided valuable assists primarily from the periphery (7/12 3-points) and, along with J. Morand, were the trio of players that led Memphis to another double.
As for New York? Neither Evan Fournier’s 30 (8/12 threes) nor Julius Randl’s near triple double (18 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists) were enough for his team Tom Tibondo stays out of the top ten in the East.
THE TWELVE MINUTES: 27-35, 52-64, 79-92, 108-120.
