But after the Final Four in Antwerp in 2019 – where the organizers Antwerp did not qualify for the final – the event was just as successful as last year’s Final Eight in Novgorod in Nizhny Novgorod, where it was also successful despite the elimination of the Russian team in the quarterfinals, FIBA ​​decided to dare to award the event to a city that will not have a representative.
