AEK thanked the public for their support in the match against Reggio Emilia in Italy

AEK defeated Reggio Emilia in Italy on Day 2 of the Basketball Champions League, exciting with the basketball they played. But as impressive as “Union” was on the pitch, so was the crowd, who even went so far as to chant slogans in Italian.

The “black and yellow” came to their fans’ help after the game and thanked their fans for their support with a nice announcement.

AEK’s announcement in detail:

“The athletes/coaches/competition executives and management of AEK BC would like to thank the flaming “Unionites” who supported the team in the game against Reggio Emilia.

Obviously, it wasn’t the first time that the “queen” received a warm welcome in an away game and especially far from our country, even in a difficult place. In the current phase, however, this support is of particular importance and creates expectations for us, but also responsibility for the future. After all, the “Queen” was never alone (in Europe)…

Members from different regions of Greece, members from Italy and other European countries created an atmosphere at PalaBigi that warmed our hearts.

We also thank everyone who wanted to “be there”, but of course the number of tickets granted to us was limited and not enough to satisfy everyone.

However, the road in the period of transition of our group to a development path at all levels remains uphill. Patience and prudence are required.

What is certain is that together we can always achieve the highest.
