Zackius Darko Kelly’s message after the horrific injury he sustained in PAOK’s away game against Unicaja Malaga for BCL.
Zakius Darko-Kelly’s shock injury overshadowed PAOK’s game against Unicaja Malaga in the Basketball Champions League, and as it turned out immediately, this injury will keep the player off the field for a considerable time.
The 25-year-old guard forward was also aware of the extent of the damage but expressed his belief that things will get better in the future if he decides his own fate.
“Unfortunately, I had a pretty serious injury. I just want to thank those who have shown an interest, it means a lot to me. PAOK friends, you are truly one of a kind. I feel blessed to have supportive teammates, coaching staff and club by my side knowing I’m in good hands.
I have to say goodbye to basketball for a while, but I’m ready to begin the process of getting back to doing what I love. I know my story will get better because I know the author.”stated the PAOK athlete in a post on Instagram.
