Dimitris Agravanis is a Spanoulis player in Peristeri
Dimitris Agravanis will continue his career at Peristeri, coached by former Olympiakos team-mate Vassilis Spanoulis.
After his brief stint at Napoli, Dimitris Agravanis (28, 2.08) returned to sign a one-year deal with an option to extend for another year with Vassilis Spanoulis’ Peristeri.
The international forward moved abroad for the first time in his career but was not happy with the Italian club and wanted to find a side that would survive in European competition.
The Westliche Vorstädte side, who compete in the BCL alongside the Basket League, were looking for a player to strengthen their front line and so against the backdrop of the Bundesliga, the two sides decided to work together for the remainder of the current season, extending their partnership and the next.
In the past, Agravanis has played for Marousi, Panionio, Olympiakos (where he co-existed with V-Span) and Promethea, while his younger brother Giannis has also worn Peristerio’s shirt in the past.
