Zisis Sarikopoulos (32 years, 2.13 meters) is a PAOK player again, the experienced center returns to “Two-Headed” after two years and strengthens the main line of the team.

KAE PAOK announces the agreement with the international center Zisi Sarikopoulos, who was immediately integrated into our team and held his first training session under the guidance of coach Lykogiannis on Wednesday afternoon. The experienced center will strengthen the front line of our team in Greece and Europe.
Zisis Sarikopoulos was born on March 31, 1990 in Athens, he is 2.13 meters tall and plays as a centre.
He began playing basketball in the infrastructure departments of Olympiacos and found himself in the United States in 2007, competing first at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and then in Ohio State. He graduated in 2010 and returned to Greece where he played for two seasons (2010-2012) at Panionios.
The next season (2012-2013) he played for Aris, followed by AEK (2014-2016), Prometheus Patras (2016-2017), a return to Panionios (2017-2018) and then (2018-19) he played for the Belarusian champions Minsk. Wearing the PAOK shirt for the first time in the 2019/20 season, he featured in 35 games in all competitions (20 league games until the pandemic halt, 14 BCL games and 1 cup game) with a 6 point and 5.4 rebound average.
He returned in 2020-21 season and managed to play in 4 games with Heracles while last year (2021-22) he played in Qatar league with Al Sadd with whom he won the league and Emir Cup , averaging 18.5 points, 14.7 rebounds and 22 double doubles in 30 games!
Zisis Sarikopoulos was a member of all national teams. He was European champion twice, in 2008 with the junior national team and in 2009 with the junior men’s national team. Also, he won 2nd place and silver medal in junior Eurobasket 2007, 2009 at Junior World Junior Eurobasket Championship in 2010.
