The former Panathinaikos player injured Peristeri and was named BCL MVP of the month
Former Panathinaikos player and current Rita Vilnius guard Marcus Foster has been named November’s MVP in the Basketball Champions League after his team’s two wins against Peristeri.
Marcus Foster was named November’s Most Valuable Player of the Month in the Basketball Champions League.
The diminutive Rita Vilnius guard, well-known to Greek crowds since his arrival from Panathinaikos, helped the Lithuanians to two wins in as many games against Peristeri during that period.
In fact, Foster had 36 points (12/19 2-pointers, 3/9 3-pointers, 3/5 shots), 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, and 5 turnovers in the two games against the team by Vassilis Spanoulis, performances that were enough to earn him MVP of the month in the competition.
