Lykogiannis is angry with Franke
Yannick Franke didn’t follow his coach’s instructions, Aris Lykogiannis kept him out of the game early in the second half of the away game against Dijon.
Yannick Franke is the “name” of this year’s PAOK, but on Tuesday evening (December 20), the Dutch regional league team took off their trainer. Just before the start of the second half in the away game against Dijon, Aris Lykogiannis explained that his players had to walk over the screen, leaving Franke wondering why he was telling him that.
Lykogiannis replied that he was constantly going under the canvas and there it was now apparent that there were differences of opinion between the two men. Franke got up to get into the game and the Greece coach asked him to step aside and go for Jalen Hunts. That was, however, when their disagreement ended there.
