Peristeri’s Miro Bilan became the best rebounder in the history of the Basketball Champions League
Miro Bilan became the first rebounder in BCL history in Peristeri’s away loss to Dijon.
Peristeri was defeated Tuesday night (3/1) at Dijon’s home stadium in the first game of the Basketball Champions League play-in, but Miro Bilan pulled off a great performance with the seven rebounds he collected in his 28:48 game, became the leading rebounder in the history of the event.
The 33-year-old Croatian center shared the top spot with Czech Petr Benda (359 rebounds), but Bilan is now in his seventh season with 23 games fewer in the BCL. For the story, Voytek Hruban remains the top scorer with 996 points in 79 games.
