Brian Angola scores 41 points for Karsijaka just weeks after leaving Galatasaray
The unstoppable Brian Angola scored 41 points with Carciyaka to equal the Basketball Champions League record held by Kiefer Sykes since 2019.
Last year he wore AEK’s jersey and when he was healthy he was lovely. This year Brian Angola moved to Turkey, playing for Andreas Pistiolis’ Galatasaray but left him a few weeks ago and showed his former club on Tuesday night (01/03) that they may have made a mistake guiding him.
The Colombian winger was incredible in Carcillaga’s away loss to Murcia (97-92) in the first game of the Basketball Champions League play-in, scoring 41 points in 32:33 (7/9 two-pointers, 6/ 9 three-pointers , 9/10 shooting) and equaled the league record that Kiefer Sykes still holds with the 43 points he scored as an Avelino player at Bandirma in January 2019.
