AEK met his opponent in the quarterfinals of the Basketball Champions League. This is Hapoel Jerusalem with “Union” having to clear their hurdle – with a home handicap – to qualify for the Final Four of the competition.
Among the remaining pairings, what stands out is the fact that we have two Spanish nationals, with one of the two, Tenerife – Manresa, being a repeat of last year’s final of the competition, with Tenerife then winning the cup.

It is worth remembering that the qualification will be decided on the two wins. At the Final Four, a new draw will be held to determine the semi-final pairings. AEK is in fact one of the teams that has expressed an interest in hosting the event at the Ano Liosia hall.
