Suspension at AEK – Hapoel Jerusalem due to incidents
Tension in the stands at the closed Ano Liosion led to a stoppage just before half-time, with the referees saying there would be a clearing of the field next time.
In the halftime of AEK’s Basketball Champions League Quarterfinals game against Hapoel Jerusalem, there were 92 seconds left when the game was stopped, the referees went to the box office and both teams went to their benches.
There was tension with fans of the two clubs in the stands, which were attended by more than 500 Israeli Hapoel Jerusalem supporters. The referees said there would be an evacuation next time, and play continued.
