The President of Hapoel Jerusalem will ask for a paper victory for the incidents involving AEK: “Miraculously, we had no injuries or deaths.”

Referring to his statements to Israeli media during the events in the game with AEK in Ano Liosia, Hapoel Jerusalem President Eyal Chomsky admitted his team will go to FIBA to request the game be secured.

The incidents at AEK – Hapoel Jerusalem made the rounds, the images of the chaos at Ano Liosia stadium inspire shame and fear. However, Hapoel Jerusalem has no intention of simply leaving the game to the protests. According to her owner, she wants to complain about the correspondence on paper.

Then the President of Hapoel emphasized: “Any reasonable person understands that in such a situation it is impossible to concentrate on the game when the referee was also miserable. They just wanted to end the game. They blamed us for challenges we didn’t do. We will turn to FIBA , there was no sense of sportsmanship in this game.

It makes no sense for fans to come to the game and risk their lives. I saw mothers protecting their children, a father hiding in the bathroom with his child. When I spoke to FIBA officials at halftime, they told me to do what stadium security said.”

In conclusion, before the third game of the series in Jerusalem, Chomsky emphasized that there would be no attempt at revenge by the Hapoel fans: “Our audience is the best and most athletic in Israel. We will encourage our crowd to fill the stadium to win.”

PAOK, Peristeri bwin and Prometheus have secured their tickets for the BCL Play-Ins and the schedule of games for the three Greek teams has been announced.

Greece continues to have a strong presence in the Basketball Champions League, with AEK Betsson heading straight to the round of 16 and PAOK, Peristeri bwin and Prometheus vying for a place in the next stage via the play-ins.

The exact dates and times of the games of the three Greek teams in the play-ins of the event have been announced by the BCL, with the team that will be selected first in time in the qualifying battle being that of Thessaloniki.

The group stage of the Basketball Champions League has concluded and the mystery of the teams that will take part in the competition in 2024 has been solved. Read the play-in pairings in detail and of course the teams in first place have already secured their place in the round of 16.

Finale has entered the group stage of the Basketball Champions League and now the situation is clear as to which teams will continue their course in the competition in the new year.

AEK Betsson qualified directly for the round of 16 despite the defeat against Ludwigsburg, while PAOK (defeated against Galatasaray but with home advantage), Peristeri bwin (home disadvantage) and Prometheus (home disadvantage) continue in the play-ins.
