Hapoel’s message before AEK: “We are a safe place for everyone and we celebrate diversity”
The new episode of Humans of BCL gave Hapoel Jerusalem an opportunity to send another message ahead of Game 3 with AEK, this time lowering the tone.
Hapoel Jerusalem and its fans star in the 5th episode of Humans of BCL, a mini-documentary series that has been running since last season’s Basketball Champions League.
The group from Israel released the said documentary, which states: “We are Hapoel Jerusalem, a safe place for everyone, for the fans, for the opponents, for the players. We celebrate diversity and welcome everyone who loves basketball. That’s our story.”
It is evident that after the events in the closed Ano Liosia and before Game 3 of the game series with AEK, which will decide which of the two teams will secure qualification, Hapoel is trying to send its own message and lower the tone to the finals Four of the event.
