FIBA Champions League
Colossos of Rhodes declared participation in the Basketball Champions League
Colossos of Rhodes also announced participation in the Basketball Champions League for the 2023-24 season.
Participation in the Basketball Champions League explained the Rhodes colossus that wants to test its strength in Europe in the 2023/24 season.
The Rhodesians finished 7th in the Basket League that season (after being eliminated in the playoffs by Panathinaikos). However, under the current regulations, three Greek teams from the top six places in the league are entitled to participate in the BCL.
AEK and PAOK will be two of them, but with Peristeriou bwin’s apparent intention to move from FIBA organization to EuroCup, there could be room for flexibility. And that’s because Olympiacos and Panathinaikos play in the EuroLeague, while Prometheus competes in the EuroCup.
We remind you that Aris also claims a place in the BCL, who obviously does not want to participate in the qualifying phase but wants to go directly into the groups of the competition, having the EuroCup as a substitute, he too has declared his participation.
